I thought that I was in for an easy read at the Beach. Well, that illusion quickly disappeared. This story had many characters and some weren't necessary to the story. I felt that many or the main characters had some serious issues and many were slightly unbalanced or a bit disturbed or even immature for adults. The more I read, the more depressed I felt. I almost gave it up about three quarters of the way through but did finish it. Even the ending was kind of stupid. It left too many unanswered questions. After reading the reviews, I can't believe all these people thought that this was a good book. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! A story about many broken people who, apparently, all have ties to The Beach Club. I enjoyed the descriptions of what running a hotel entails, and a few of the characters were really interesting (i.e. Lacey). Unfortunately, there were so many characters, none of their stories were really fleshed out and the book felt unfinished.Just another average beach read.
